• Australia Wide Service - Giraffe Removals and Storage provide an Australian-wode complete removal/relocation service. We are able to arrange interstate removals using our own vehicles or in association with reliable companies with which we have longstanding relationships.
• Packing Services and Materials - We are able to provide packing materials – cartons, tape, identification labels and bubble wrap. Giraffe Removals and Storage will also, on request, supply trolleys and crates and experienced packing staff to systematically pack/unpack files, library and reference materials. We also provide ongoing internal and contract staff training in packing and handling techniques.
• Complete Relocation Resource Service - Giraffe Removals and Storage whatever handling equipment is required – furniture dollies, purpose built hand trolleys, computer and peripheral trolleys, computer covers and building protection materials such as floor, wall and lift covers, wall corners and pads – to facilitate efficient removal.
• Safely Relocate Electronic Equipment - Extra care is required with Electronic Equipment – computers, printers etc. Giraffe Removals and Storage have particular expertise and experience in this area to ensure that each item is safely relocated. When required we can also arrange experienced staff to disconnect computers and their peripherals.
• Project Supervision/Move Management - Move Management ensures constant monitoring of your relocation every step of the way to the final destination. It is a process of pro-active planning, communication and follow-ups that ensure that every relocation goes through a predetermined sequence to ensure optimum control, timely premier service and a hassle-free relocation.
• Dismantle and Reassemble Office Furniture - Giraffe Removals and Storage dismantle and reassemble office furniture e.g.workstations, shelving and remove wall-mounted whiteboards etc., if required.

Warehouse & Storage

• Own Storage Facility - Giraffe Removals and Storage provide storage and warehouse facilities. Giraffe own storage in Sydney and can access facilities as required elsewhere in Australia. Our present warehouse of 600m² available floor space is located in central Sydney at 6 Carlton Crescent, Summer Hill.
• Warehouse Procedures - Furniture items are stored in a safe, dry, dust free environment and are packed to minimise damage. Furniture items are received and dispatched for re-use, disposal or storage. Giraffe Removals and Storage provide a storage information telephone service between normal business hours and when required 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  We currently provide a time efficient system of dispatching furniture from store:
  1. Receive order via email, fax or phone
  2. Request processed through Warehouse Manager
  3. Item in store can be delivered within 24 hours
  4. Items signed out of store upon delivery to client. Client to sign item received.
• Short and long term storage capabilities - Furniture and other items are able to be stored for any period of time that the client requires.

Furniture Repair and Maintenance

Giraffe Removals and Storage provide a furniture repair and maintenance service for items that may require attention prior to storage or relocation. We have ongoing relationships with quality upholsterers and carpenters, as required.

Rubbish Removal

We also provide a rubbish collection and disposal service.

Document Destruction

We provide a secure and reliable document destruction service, if required. We have many years experience in this area and understand the clients’ need for confidential, secure, complete destruction of, at times, sensitive material, in accordance with clients’ instructions.
